1. Use of the Platform

BussTickets is an online platform that allows passengers to search for, book, and pay for intercity bus tickets in Ghana. You agree to use the platform only for lawful purposes and in a manner that does not infringe the rights of others.

• You must be at least 18 years old, or have parental or guardian consent, to make a booking.
• You are responsible for providing accurate contact details (name, phone number) at the time of booking.
• You must not attempt to manipulate seat availability, pricing, or any other data on the platform.

2. Bookings & Seat Reservations

A booking made through BussTickets secures a guaranteed seat reservation with the relevant bus operator. Note the following:

• Your booking is confirmed only after successful payment is received and processed.
• A unique booking reference and ticket number are issued upon confirmed payment.
• Physical tickets showing seat number and bus registration are issued by the operator at the point of boarding.
• You may book up to 10 seats per transaction. For larger groups, contact us directly.
• Seat assignments are managed by the operator and may be subject to change; we will notify you where possible.

3. Pricing & Payment

All prices displayed on BussTickets are in Ghana Cedis (GHS) and are inclusive of any applicable fees. Prices are set by operators and may change; the price confirmed at checkout is the price you pay.

• Payments are processed securely via Paystack, which accepts Mobile Money (MTN, Telecel, AirtelTigo) and local debit/credit cards.
• We do not store your payment credentials.
• A booking is not confirmed until payment is fully received. Do not travel on an unconfirmed booking.
• BussTickets may charge a convenience fee; this will be disclosed clearly before payment.

4. Cancellations & Refunds

Cancellations and refunds are governed by our Refund Policy, which forms part of these Terms. Key points:

• Cancellations must be requested before departure by contacting us with your booking reference.
• Once a physical ticket has been issued at boarding, cancellations must be handled directly with the operator.
• Refund eligibility and percentages depend on how far in advance you cancel relative to the departure time.
• Rescheduling to another available departure is offered at no extra cost as an alternative to a cash refund.

5. Ticket Delivery

Your ticket is delivered to the phone number provided at checkout via WhatsApp. If WhatsApp delivery fails, an SMS is sent automatically. It is your responsibility to ensure the phone number provided is correct and accessible. BussTickets is not liable for non-delivery caused by an incorrect number.

6. Operator Responsibility

BussTickets acts as a booking intermediary. The bus operator is solely responsible for the safe and timely operation of the journey. We are not liable for delays, route diversions, mechanical failures, accidents, or any other incidents that occur during travel. Any claims relating to the journey itself must be directed to the operator.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by Ghanaian law, BussTickets and Sempa Transport shall not be liable for:

• Any indirect, incidental, or consequential loss arising from your use of the platform.
• Loss of profits, revenue, data, or goodwill.
• Delays, cancellations, or service failures by operators.
• Technical outages, payment processing failures, or delivery failures beyond our reasonable control.

Our total liability to you in connection with any booking shall not exceed the amount you paid for that booking.

8. Intellectual Property

All content on the BussTickets website — including text, logos, graphics, and software — is owned by or licensed to Sempa Transport. You may not reproduce, distribute, or use any content without our prior written permission.

9. Modifications to the Service

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the BussTickets service at any time without prior notice. We also reserve the right to update these Terms; continued use of the platform after changes are published constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

10. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Ghana. Any dispute arising from your use of BussTickets shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Ghana. We encourage you to contact us first to resolve any dispute amicably before initiating legal proceedings.
